Freezing Cold

I never really know when its going to be really cold so it usually happens when i least expect it. Living in the gage dorms you can never tell what the weather is like outside. Putting your hand out of the window you think would help guesstimate the temperature, no it never works. When I know its going to be freezing outside I put on two pairs of my warmest sweatpants and bring all of my books, my computer and food for the entire day. Doing so prevents me from having to walk to and from all of the buildings in between class. If its a day a don't have class my first worry would be my car. Always leave the car with at least half a tank of gas so you know it will not freeze and will have no problem starting. To conclude my freezing days a usually curl up with my down blanket and a nice cup of hot chocolate.

" Angle" By Sarah McLachlan

As far as music goes i don't have a favorite genre, every song I like is my favorite. If I had to pick one song the never gets old it would be"Angle" by Sarah McLachlan. "Angle" has alot of meaning to me. My mom and I dubbed it as our song. So every time the slow calming song comes on it gets silent and we both smile as we are just so happy to hear it. Now that I think about it I'm not sure how it became our song, I think its just because we liked to sing it. As I read through the lyrics now I realize what a sad depressing song it is. When I was younger I guess I didn't pay attention to the true meaning of the song.
"In the arms of an angel
Fly away from here
From this dark cold hotel room
And the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage
Of your silent reverie
You’re in the arms of the angel
May you find some comfort there"
Reading the lyrics for the first time now the song created more meaning to me. I look back at the times in the car when we were singing together and realize why she liked the song so much. Most would read these lyrics and think what a depressing song. I look at it now as wow I am in a better place and the place she speaks of does not have to be heaven.

Favorite Place

A place I enjoy being is my home. Home always feels so safe and warm. My mom is always home for me and I love spending time with and sharing my life with. I can always look forward to an amazing nights sleep and waking up to a great breakfast. The favorite place in my house is the leather couch in the living room. Its where I spend most of my time while at home. Watching Law and Order with my Yorkie Emma on the most comfortable couch ever most definatly the best thing to do while at home.
